The roof deck at Hotel Viking – is an amazing vantage point from which to sit back, relax with friends and take in the panoramic view of America’s “first resort”. Open every day from May through September, the Top Of Newport  is a haven for guests, town folk and visitors from miles around. It’s a fun, convivial spot to have cocktail coolers and refreshing frozen drinks including, ‘Blue-cumber’, ‘Gingerita’ and 'Viking Green Tea'; accompanied by backyard BBQ favorites; chilled plates such as Chilled Oysters; Narragansett Littleneck Clams and Lobster Rolls.  Top Of Newport features live entertainment throughout the summer, highlighting local Rhode Island musicians on Fridays and Saturdays from 5 to 9 p.m, Sundays from 4 to 8 p.m.

Top of Newport Hours:  

• Tuesday through Thursday, 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM
• Friday through Sunday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM
• Closed Mondays
