Christmas at the Newport Mansions
The glitter of gold and the sparkle of silver will dazzle you as you tour three magnificent mansions decked out in Yuletide finery. Music, tours, and spectacular decorations highlight the celebration of Christmas at the Newport Mansions. The Preservation Society of Newport County invites you to make holiday memories with your family by visiting The Breakers, The Elms and Marble House this holiday season - November 22, 2014 to January 4, 2015.

Christmas at Blithewold
Christmas at Blithewold has a new theme every year. The Mansion is open for touring Tuesday through Sunday 11a.m. - 5 p.m. Buy your admission tickets online or at the door. Our wonderful volunteers work hard to incorporate the annual theme into their decorations and design of their rooms; almost every room at Blithewold is decorated for Christmas! Our Christmas includes a 18 ft Christmas tree, music performances, teas, sing-a-longs with Santa and more. November 28, 2014 - January 1, 2015.

Afternoon Tea in the Dining Room
Just in time for the holiday's we're inviting you to an updated Tea experience in the Dining Room at Blithewold. Join us in welcoming our new partners, Ellie's Bakery, a sister concept to Four Diamond Award Winning Gracie's, Providence. Teas will be held by reservation during the week from Tuesday through Friday. There are two seatings each day, with tea times at either 1pm or 3pm. $22 Members $30 Non-members, includes regular admission.

New Year's Day Polar Bear Plunge
12-Noon. Every New Year's Day for charity the Newport Polar Bears invite anyone crazy enough to join them for a swim in the Frosty North Atlantic Ocean. The charity this year is as last year, A Wish Come True. All proceeds from the swim and at the after swim party at the Atlantic Beach Club at the east end of Easton's Beach.

27th Annual Newport Winter Festival
Join us for “Winter Latitudes, Tropical Attitudes” as we celebrate the 27th Annual Newport Winter Festival! Touted as “New England’s Largest Winter Extravaganza,” the annual Winter Festival will take place throughout Newport and Newport County. Featuring over 150 events, the Festival offers a unique winter experience combining food, festivities, music, and fun for all ages.
13th Annual Newport Bridal Show
Whether you are recently engaged or just need a few final details to complete your wedding planning, the 13th Annual Newport Bridal Show is the event you won't want to miss. Delicious food, tasty drinks, giveaways, entertainment, transportation between venues (Rosecliff & Oceancliff), fashion shows, and 80 vendors to make your wedding spectacular on every budget! First 100 engaged couples to arrive will receive an exclusive Newport Bridal Show tote bag. All guests are entered for our grand prize giveaways!

Newport Saint Patrick's Day Parade
58th Annual Newport Saint Patrick's Day Parade - find your best green attire, keep your eyes open for leprechauns, and join in the revelry to celebrate St. Patrick's Day in Newport! The parade begins at 11am at City Hall, runs through Washington Square, down Thames Street, and ends at St. Augustine's Church.

Newport Restaurant Week Spring
A three-course meal from some of the finest area restaurant without breaking the bank! From a steaming cup of chowder overlooking the harbor to fine dining in romantic restaurants, Newport & Bristol County restaurants offer an array of creative menus. $16 for a three-course lunch and $35 for a three-course dinner.

Easter Egg Hunt & Brunch
Our 26th annual Easter Egg Hunt & Brunch brings the Easter Bunny back to Rosecliff to share lots and lots of eggs, candy, prizes, and a scrumptious seated brunch for everyone in the family!. Space is limited, and reservations are required for adults and all children.

New England's premier flower show celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2015 with American Beauty-Timeless Style. Long before it became home to the Newport Flower Show, Rosecliff was the birthplace of the American Beauty Rose. This iconic flower, which became a symbol of excellence, is the inspiration for our 20th anniversary. Join us to celebrate the classic and timeless style of the American Beauty.

The festival features three full days of jazz on three unique stages at Fort Adams, one of the Park system's national treasures situated at the mouth of Newport Harbor with panoramic views of the Newport Bridge and the East Passage.

25th Annual Bowen's Wharf Seafood Festival
Named one of the "10 Fabulous Fall Festivals on the Coast," this Celebration of the Harvest of the Sea is an open invitation to come back to the waterfront after the rush of the summer season! Fresh, local seafood from assorted vendors alongside signature cocktails and cold New England beer and continuous live music. Free amission and guaranteed Family fun beneath the Wharf's colorful tents on the waterfront.
