The Viking Guestrooms
Beautifully appointed in the gilded age style. This smaller, cozy guestroom will wrap you in a luxury dupioni silk comforter and triple sheeted pillow top mattress, combined with rich tapestries and fabric prints to create a jewel of a room.
The Manor Guestrooms
Romantic and luxurious, these rooms feature beautiful period inspired furniture and the décor of Newport’s Gilded Age. Pillow top mattresses are draped with Egyptian cotton bed linens and a rich satin duvet. Rooms feature built in cherry wardrobes, reminiscent of those found in elegant manor houses. In addition, LCD televisions are in every room. Beveled glass doors lead into the bathrooms which feature large showers wrapped in ‘pillow’ carved marble along with rain head showers.
Newport Guestroom:
The Newport guestrooms are spacious and beautifully appointed with classic Queen Anne style furnishings. Triple sheets over pillow top mattresses offer a luxurious nights rest. These rooms reflect a tasteful blend of historic charm and modern amenities, including coffee makers and cordless phones.
Estate Guest Room
Reminiscent of the great Newport estates, these traditional guestrooms offer elegant ambiance infused with comfort. Reproductions of early 20th Century art adorn the walls and each room offers a conversational area with sofa or lounge chair. Layered and wrapped in the rich warm fabrics of the Gilded Age, rooms feature elaborate bullion fringes, down pillows of tapestry and silk, velvets and satins and windows covered with traditional Toile Roman Blinds.
Premier Rooms
Our Premier Rooms are oversized and spacious accommodations, with elegant furnishings reminiscent of an English country inn. Marbled bathrooms and new artwork add a touch of grace to these luxurious accommodations.

Whether your canine traveling companion is named Rex, Bowser, Spot, Toto, Lassie or Tramp, Hotel Viking has just started a new program to pamper your "pup-on-vacation" as much or better than you do at home. Hotel Viking welcomes dogs in its Newport Wing and also treats its canine guests to a bag of complimentary organic dog biscuits that can be replenished during their stay at the hotel's front desk. Hotel Viking's Canine Room Service available at your fingertips/paws, served daily from 7 am to 10 pm. We we accept pets in the Newport wing of the hotel. There is a one time non-refundable cleaning fee of $75. Pets need to be crated if left alone in guestroom.
