Ghoulish Gathering with Gratis Gourmet Goodies
Newport, RI (September 27, 2007) – Chills and thrills await at the post-Halloween Ghoulish Gathering at One Bellevue in the Hotel Viking on November 2, 2007, from 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm. With scary music performed by the Rick Costa trio and complimentary Horror d'oeuvres and drink specials all night, the evening promises more treats than tricks. The complimentary appetizer menu includes:
Monster Mini Caramel-Coated Apple Skewers
Jack-o-Lantern Pumpkin Bisque Shooters
Black Widow Linguini (squid ink) with Poached Lobster and Mascarpone-Orange Cream
Hobgoblin Game Hen with Cider Glaze and Pumpkin Seed Brittle
Mummified Shrimp (wrapped in phyllo string) with Bloody Mary Dipping Sauce
Death by Chocolate Cake with Marshmallow and Orange Frosting
Specialty cocktails include the non-alcoholic Warm Witches Blood, a sinful mix of Cran-apple, Orange juice, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, All-spice and Sugar stirred with a tree branch and boiled together in a big cauldron; and the Witch’s Brew of Yellow Chartreuse, Blue Curacao, Brandy, Cloves, Nutmeg and Allspice.
